Bob Swinnerton is a former touring Professional playing both in the United States and on the Canadian PGA Tour, he was also a member of the 1987 Fresno State University golf team, ranked # 3 in the nation.  Bob began teaching golf over twenty five years ago and has been the Head Professional for the Santa Cruz Golf Academy since 1994.

His innovative teaching methods have received critical acclaim over the years from both television and newsprint coverage, having been featured in both Golf Digest and Golf Tips Magazine as well as being published in numerous local, regional and national newspapers and magazines.

Bob has the rare opportunity to work with players of all levels, whether it is walking the fairways of Merion in the 2013 US Open with Cory McElyea or working in his private studio with a beginner. who is just learning to swing the golf club for the first time.  No matter what your level of play, Bob’s approach to learning the game will provide you a great opportunity to achieve the level of performance you desire.
